Head of Warehouse Operations

Our client seeks a Warehouse operations manager to oversee logistics, reporting, special projects, customs. This role involves leading a team and coordinating with various departments to optimise operations.

Our client is a prominent company specialising in FMCG sector. With a strong international presence, this role focuses on optimising supply chain processes and ensuring seamless operations across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the warehouse operations, managing warehouse employees.
• Coordinate purchase planning with Sales & Marketing, optimising forward cover.
• Produce inventory reports and participate in budget and estimate preparations (demand planning).
• Oversee warehouse and logistics procedure changes, ERP updates, and IT flow optimisation's.
• Supervise the customs and excise function, ensuring smooth coordination with logistics.
• Manage building infrastructure, including maintenance and utility contracts.
• Collaborate proactively with management and other departments to drive improvement.

Successful Candidate Qualities:

• Proficient in Dutch, English, and French (Spanish is a plus).
• At least 5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics/operations management.
• University degree in Logistics, Business, or Marketing.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Flexible and solution-oriented with a drive for simplification.
• Team leadership experience, capable of motivating and managing a team of over 10 people.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and MS Dynamics Business Central.
