As an International Category Manager - FMCG you are driving the growth of the Customer Brands across all country clusters where you will be responsible for driving volume, value, market share and profitability while establishing the company as preferred partner for key customers through insightful category strategies. Your work will be impactful, fostering strong customer relationships and contributing to sustainable, profitable growth.

Main responsibilities:

  • Adapt Growth Strategies from global to local action plans.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze customer and market data to formulate clear conclusions and actionable recommendations. Present findings these finding to the sales team & key customer accounts.
  • Workshop Leadership: Develop and lead workshops to enhance commercial team skills.
  • Project Management: Lead multiple Category & Revenue Growth projects from start to finish.
  • Category Ownership: Take ownership of one or more categories and manage the Category Growth Plan and stakeholder requests
  • Data Provider Management: Work with the Category and Insights Manager to optimize data provider services and prepare a data needs plan for your category each six-month period.
  • Strategic Workshops: Prepare and facilitate strategic customer workshops with commercial teams to build and execute customer plans.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Maintain close interaction with internal stakeholders across various functions to stay informed of wider business goals.
  • Customer Strategy: Own the strategy for 1-2 key customers, developing strategic retailer partnerships.
  • Region: Mainly Western Europe

Report to Commercial Excellence Director


Qualified Candidate:

  • University Degree
  • 4-6 years experience FMCG category, sales role
  • Strong knowledge & insights into data analytics
    • Experience with different data sources
  • Storyteller and strong in clear & transparent communication
  • Strong strategical & Problem-solving skill-set
  • Team-player
  • Curious person with an international mindset
  • Fluent in English (other languages are a plus)
