Technical Product Specialist - Penta

In order to strenghten our multiservices Aftersales department with additonal product knowledge, we are currently looking for a "Technical Product Specialist - Penta" for our office in Brussels.

• Support our aftersales teams in Africa, according to SMT Africa and OEM standards ;
• Support Parts, Sales and Warranty departments at HQ in Brussels ;
• Opportunity to deliver trainings if you feel comfortable.

Support Aftersales teams

• Provide support facing technical issues and escalate technical support requests to Volvo ;
• Provide support for diagnostics (Replace, repair, update, manage accounts…) ;
• Provide expertise locally on site to key customer as senior technician.

Support Parts, Sales and Warranty services at the HQ

• Support Sales by providing any technical information. (including tooling, spare parts, services, technical issues and retrofit options) ;
• Support Parts by identifying p/n when technical knowledge is requested ;
• Provide support in warranty and campaign related questions.

Train Aftersales teams

• Give input to identify needs for technical directors and technicians according to their capability ;
• Being constantly trained and updated on our dedicated product ;
• Train our team on site (Brussels & abroad).

• Strong mechanical experience and background ;
• Experience in Aftersales on Machines and/or Trucks ;
• 10 years of experience in technical environments ;
• Good knowledge of the Construction Equipment or Automotive sector is a must ;
• Knowledge and experience of working in Africa and/or remote sites is a plus ;
• You have excellent organization skills supported by a good technical/product knowledge ;
• You are able to work as part of a team or independently ;
• Good computer proficiency in Excel as well as Microsoft office ;
• Language knowlegde (by order of importance): French / English ;
• Ability to work with different cultures and travel in different environments ;
• You're a pocketknife with mechanical expertise.
