Business Development Manager - Industrial Refrigeration


As a Business Development Manager, your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with your clients, primarily franchise managers in the retail sector.


Our client is a global leader in commercial refrigeration solutions, providing innovative and sustainable equipment to various industries (retail, food service, and industrial sectors)

To expand the Belgian market, our client is seeking a Business Development Manager.


As a Business Development Manager, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Establish, maintain, and expand the customer portfolio in Belgium.
  • Have a focus on franchise managers in the retail sector.
  • Promote and sell all new equipment products and services.
  • Prepare commercial offers in collaboration with the Sales Back Office team.
  • Provide the Sales & Project Support team with the necessary information to perform quotations, and conduct final negotiations with customers.
  • Ensure the activation of marketing and communication actions in collaboration with the Trade Marketing department.
  • Contribute to the annual budget process and provide reliable forecasts.


The successful candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Fluent in Dutch, French, English
  • Proven track record in B2B -technical- sales
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work with long sales cycles
  • Both a hunting & farming mentality
  • Self-motivated, ability to work with autonomy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong time management & organizational abilities
