YOUR RESPONSABILITIES
Our Customs department is responsible for the processes and administration for all our goods, both domestic and international or in- and outbound.Your role will include:• Securing that all import and export processes are executed on time and are compliant to all relevant rules and regulations.• Identifying & resolving any deviations or inaccuracies in the administration.• Maintaining the necessary files and data within the unit or with the appropriate authorities.• Sharing your knowledge of customs processes or changes in the processes or regulations within the team to make sure everyone is still up to date.• Contributing to keep standard operating procedures up to date.• Securing the payment reconciliation process of customs related transactions.• Maintaining good relations with internal and external partners; for example by pro-actively sharing information.• We are a company that values the development of our co-workers. WHO YOU ARE
• You are detail oriented and enjoy working with routines within a dynamic organization.• You have an eye for reading and interpreting legislation. On top of that you are pro-active and autonomous in keeping yourself up to date on the latest legislative changes.• You have an analytical mind, are a good problem-solver.• Organizing and managing assignments within deadlines comes naturally to you.• You are process oriented; you enjoy creating structure, planning and prioritizing your tasks.• Your good communication skills will secure our good relations ship with internal & external stakeholders.• You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and eager to work with other digital systems.• You are fluent in English and Dutch, in both written and verbal communication.• Preferably you have 5 years of experience in the import/export industry, supply chain or customs brokerage.
