HR Business Partner Belux


For one of our customers having its headquarter based in Antwerp, we are currently looking for a hands-on HR Business Partner for the Belux region.


Our customer is fashion retailer specialized in women's clothing. The company tells more than 20 shops in Belgium and Luxembourg and has its headquarter based in Antwerp.


As HR Business Partner Belux , you will be responsible for monitoring, coordinating, and executing various activities within the different domains of HR for the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • You closely collaborate with The Sales Manager Belux that you advise on a regular basis.
  • You support and guide employees throughout the entire employee life cycle.
  • You carry out the recruitment process of the company's personnel from job intake with the business, select to hire, contract management and onboarding
  • You co-develop, translate, implement and execute HR policies and make sure they are line with local regulations as well as corporate objectives.
  • You ensure a smooth benefits and payroll management, overseeing compensation packages and insurance plans with precision in collaboration with the payroll provider (SD Worx).
  • You define, implement, follow up and report the talent management plan based on legal regulations and business needs
  • You are in charge and constantly seek for a smooth personnel administration (staff documentation, labor agreements, insurance policies, time registration, disciplinary files, meal vouchers…)
  • You serve as the guardian of compliance, navigating legal complexities with finesse and offering HR counsel to Sales and Shop managers that you regularly visit


The ideal candidate can demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • You have a Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field or equivalent by experience
  • You can demonstrate at least 3 years of experience in generalist role including soft & hard HR responsibilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of the Belgian social legislation required.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and French and have a good command of English.
  • You are autonomous and possess strong organizational skills and a hands-on mindset
  • Discreet and trustworthy with excellent communication skills allowing you to build constructive relationships with all your stakeholders.
