A Data Analyst | Python Developer for our Data & Insights domain within our Technology & Product Studio (TPS). And we believe you are the right person. Here’s a summary of what the job entails:
As a Data Analyst | Python Developer, you are in control of our machine that processes gigantic amounts of data in real-time every day. You are a sparring partner for the in-house developers. Furthermore, you maintain close ties with the product managers of the main interfaces, such as the teams developing the app and the website. By testing in a structured and methodical way, you oversee the quality of deliverables. This is not just an ordinary development position, but a broad role where development, QA and analysis comes together.
To be successful in this mission, we expect you to:

• have an eye for operational excellence and high quality standards;
• have a good knowledge of Dutch and English;
• be strong in communication with (internal) customers, you are able to respond quickly and manage their expectations well;
• have knowledge of quality assurance & test-driven development;
• be service-oriented and derive satisfaction from offering solutions;
• deal with crisis situations and quickly set out the right actions at such times;
• have experience with Javascript, Git, CICD flows, Angular, Great Expectations or Elasticsearch.

You will be working at TPS, Mediahuis' International IT & data department. Together with your colleagues, you will work on the underlying structure that makes it possible to measure the performance of articles, advertisements and marketing campaigns. Thanks to you, we know, for example, how to give our subscription sales a quality boost.
