Food Lawyer - International law firm - Brussels

We are looking for experienced Lawyer in Food Law willing to work for prestigious international law firm based in Brussels.

A niche, world class international law firm with a unique blend of legal and scientific expertise, our client, with offices in Washington, D.C., Brussels, San Francisco and Shanghai, serves some of the largest conglomerates and organisations world-wide, and some of the smallest innovators in the market - on some of their most complex and difficult issues.

To support the growth of its Food & Drugs, Food Packaging and Chemicals practices in Brussels, our client is looking for an experienced Lawyer.

You work will include advising clients on the regulatory status of food, feed and their ingredients, pre-market authorisation procedures, product positioning and compliance with food information requirements, and the interpretation and application of other EU and national regulatory requirements relevant to specific client circumstances.

You will work with fellow associates and in-house scientists under the guidance of partners from the relevant practice areas of the Brussels and the DC offices.

• You have a Master degree in Law with a strong interest in developing expertise and in providing services in legal and regulatory EU and international issues regarding food, food packaging, cosmetics, drugs, medical devices, chemicals and other life sciences issues
• You have excellent academic records including a postgraduate degree in European Law
• You are admitted in a European bar
• You are fluent in English and you possess a good working knowledge of any other EU language
• You are interested in a long-term commitment
• You have min. 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong analytically, writing & interpersonal skills
• Open to international profiles
